The Meeting was called to order at 2:07 pm.

The March minutes were approved as distributed.

Members present: Bayle Emlein, Chuck Horner George Kornbluth, Jan Fagerholm. Absent: Diane George, Sally Holt, Sid Jordan, Elsie Smith.

Old Business:

Chuck will check with his son Aaron about developing a promotional YouTube video.

It appears that Elsie has indeed permanently retired as editor of the print newsletter. George suggested encouraging Diane to explore online options.

The 501 (c) (3) Certificate of Revivor forms have been completed and submitted to the State of California.

George is still working on contacting Weird Stuff.

Michael Wong has suggested seeking business sponsorships. In addition to Weird Stuff, Chuck suggested local computer repair shops, national chains (e.g., BestBuy), and technology training facilities (e.g., Heald).

President's Report — Chuck Horner:

Chuck will contact the pincipal of Hayward Adult School regarding a joint of understanding to re-establish a PCC space at the school. Chuck will check with Sid regarding his vision and plans for refurbishing.

George will check to be sure that the old Bank of America account has been closed.

Secretary --- Bayle Emlein:

Nothing special to report.

Jan reports that he emails members to renew as their dues approaches expiration.

VP Clubhouse --- Sid Jordan:

No report.

VP Marketing --- Vacant

Webmaster --- Diane George:

Diane reports she has found a way to generate a newsletter using a template in Joomla. She would like program information no later than the Monday before the Main Meeting. The same is true of any other announcements. For May, that date is April 28th. If anyone would like to write an article so that she has something to experiment with, please send it to her.

May: "Next Door," and possibly other neighborhood local opt-in networking solutions for safety and community awareness.

July: Bob Gostischa of Avast may be available.

Will we meet on July 4? Or should the meeting be moved to July 11? Chuck will survey attendees at the next Main Meeting.
