Welcome to PCC!

PC Community supports users of personal computers running versions of Windows, Linux, and DOS. Main meetings are held on the first Friday of each month, starting at 7:30 pm at Calvary Baptist Church at 28924 Ruus Road, Hayward California. Check back here on the Monday prior to the meeting for the most up-to-date information on the next meeting. Special interest groups (SIGs) meet during the month at various locations in the East Bay. In addition to attending the main meeting and SIG meetings, PCC members refurbish and recycle donated computers for use by schools, seniors and the disabled.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at the Hayward Adult School is open on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Saturdays, the Clubhouse will not be open during the summer, unless there is a traffic school class being held on the campus. Please check the Calendar to get the most up-to-date information on the Clubhouse dates and times.

If you register for an account, you will find news and information from some of the vendors that support user groups and discount offers that are available for members only. Registration is easy--click on the "Register" link in the right menu on the page. Fill out some basic information and your account will be approved shortly thereafter. You will receive an email confirming your registration when it has been approved. If you are not a member, this might be a good time to join.

Computer Donations

Since July 2003, PCC has given away more than 400 refurbished computers with operating systems that have evolved from Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP. These have been installed for a wide variety of members of the local community. Special thanks to all those members who hang out at the Clubhouse and work on computers and to those who donate their computers for recycling. Newer computers are refurbished and older computers are broken down for recovery in recycling centers. Make a donation of computers or peripherals to PCC.
