PC Community Executive Committee Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 2:31 PM by President Chuck Horner.
Members present: Bayle Emlein, Jan Fagerholm, Chuck Horner, Sid Jordan, Elsie Smith, Tom Smith. Absent: Diane George.
The minutes of the November meeting were approved as read.
Old Business: The brochure and cards have been tabled until we have an official VP Marketing.
President's Report - Chuck Horner: We need marketing and programs help.
Executive Vice President - Position open.
Treasurer - Tom Smith: As of January 22, 2011
Tom pointed out that we lost $2,229.55 this year, which continues a general trend. The Clubhouse has been a big source of revenue.

Declining membership is the main cause for declining revenues. Chuck pointed out that we need better outreach to the community. Chuck will send the card and brochure to Paul Cooper to follow up.
Secretary - Bayle Emlein: Nothing special to report.
VP Clubhouse - Sid Jordan: There seems to be a lapse between people renewing and their getting their newsletter. It is proposed that people renew before their dues expire, and not wait until after the end of their membership before renewing.
People need to check the Web site for late-breaking changes in the schedule. People can also call ahead to the Clubhouse to be sure of hours.

The Southwest Computer Conference will take place the first weekend of June. All are welcome.
