The meeting was called to order at 2:07 p.m. by President Chuck Horner.
Members present: Bayle Emlein, Jan Fagerholm, Sally Holt, Chuck Horner, Diane George, Elsie Smith, Tom Smith. Absent: Sid Jordan.
The minutes of the March 2012 meeting were approved.
Old Business:
Diane is finalizing the updated membership form as an interactive PDF. She has fixed the tab-through sequence. The form can be submitted manually by printing and mailing (with payment).
The Southwest Computer Conference will take place in San Diego June 22-24. The photo contest deadline is May 11. Members can bring photos to the May 4 main meeting for members to select the PCC entries in the Southwest Digital Photo Contest. Please bring a printed copy of your entry. Electronic copies could be displayed for members' enjoyment but this is purely optional. Members should bring a print-out of their photo to the May 4 Main Meeting. Chuck will have shoulder surgery on June 14. He plans to be around, but semi-operational for a few months.

Tom received a card from Pat O'Sullivan who reports that he is no longer driving. The members of the EC wonder if anyone who lives in Oakland could pick him up, in central Oakland, and bring him to the Main Meeting.
Secretary - Bayle Emlein:
The Microsoft RRP Windows license problem has been worked out and the Clubhouse has resumed refurbishing and placing computers in the community.
VP Clubhouse - Sid Jordan:
Sid reports that they are in negotiations with Alameda County for a space.

Webmaster - Diane George:
Diane is planning to move the Web site to a new version of Joomla and make some adjustments to the look of the site and is working to keep the site accessible according to ADA standards. She would
like recent photos to update the pictures on the Web site. If anyone has any to share, please send them to her. She will need to have the site down for a few hours during the transition. Diane and Jan will coordinate strategies for updating information on the Web site.
Jan will check with Sid about updated Clubhouse information for the Web site and Newsletter.

Programs:
May: Diane will talk about the LDS volunteer project for indexing old census and other public records, such as draft records, for the genealogy site familysearch.org.
